The institute also set up a “research laboratory with the aim of cataloging, classifying and preserving the national musical heritage, through academic methods prepared for preparing curricula for various musical instruments, scientific progress and raising the level of Algerian music to the required level. ISNM has also signed partnership agreements with several major schools and conservatories in foreign countries such as the USA and the Czech Republic, its director explains, adding that training scholarships for postgraduate studies have been awarded in Russia, Turkey, China and France.
